Does your day seem to have ’gaps’?
There may be spaces in your day, but that doesn’t prevent you from continuing to learn! If you have a span of time with no formal session to attend, try one of these self-directed options:
  • collaborate with other colleagues - at your own school, or meet up with others from another school - travel to each other, or set up a Google Meet
  • are you working on an online course already? Complete some course components
  • use this opportunity to find other online PD sessions - there are so many FREE sources out there! A simple Google search will lead you to many possibilities
  • find podcasts or online articles on a topic you’d like to (or need to) know more about
  • investigate to find reputable groups or agencies connected to a topic you want to learn about - their pages are often full of great information and links to many helpful resources
  • ATA members: spend some time digging into www.teachers.ab.ca (it’s on a new platform now - much easier to use) - the various branches have fantastic learning links posted there. Also, make sure you are signed up for your free Specialist Council membership and explore their site

<<< Evaluations >>>

Please fill in the session evaluations on each session you attend here in Sched. There will be prizes drawn from all of those submissions (draw to be made Wednesday). Also, we send all of the comments to the presenters after the forms close. Give them solid feedback to help direct future presentations!

At the end of the day, the Overall Evaluation link is loaded right here - please fill it out to help us plan for future years! There will also be prize draws for all names entered through the evaluation - that draw will happen Monday, October 17.

Do you dehydrate on purpose before a long drive?  Or perhaps you have pain “down there”.  Using her compassionate,  trauma informed, multisystems approach, Angela is a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist passionate about educating and supporting people to improve their pelvic health. Join her in an enlightening and entertaining session where you will learn why leaking is not normal, what optimal bowel and bladder function is, and why your “down there” is so important to your overall health!
